Cambridge University Press (CUP), the publishing division of the University of Cambridge, has announced a publishing partnership with the World Association for Disaster and Emergency Medicine (WADEM). Under the deal, CUP will publish Prehospital and Disaster Medicine, the official publication of WADEM, from January 2011. The journal will be available at http://journals.cambridge.org/pdm.
Prehospital and Disaster Medicine is one of the leading scientific journals focusing on prehospital, emergency, and disaster health. The journal claims to be the only peer-reviewed international journal in its field, published bi-monthly, providing a readable, usable, worldwide source of research and analysis.
Prehospital and Disaster Medicine will be hosted on Cambridge's cutting-edge electronic platform, Cambridge Journals Online (journals.cambridge.org/pdm), and will include increased usability and functionality, and many new features to enhance and optimise article usage. The complete archive dating back to Volume 1, Issue 1 will also join Cambridge Digital Archive during 2011.
