Academic publisher Cambridge University Press (CUP), US, has announced an agreement with online submission system provider Aries Systems Corporation, US. Under the deal, Aries' Editorial Manager (EM) peer review system will be deployed for journals published by the Press.
The Aries Systems Corporation and Cambridge University Press teams have been working together since early 2007, and several journals have already been launched on Editorial Manager. The new agreement is expected to accelerate the pace of deployment.
CUP publishes over two hundred journals ranging across physical and medical sciences to social science and the humanities. More than 115 journal publications are owned by the Press, while others are published on behalf of learned and professional societies.
