Cambridge University Press titles recognized at 2026 PROSE Awards -

The Association of American Publishers has recognized 20 Cambridge titles in the 2026 PROSE Awards, including nine subject category winners and 11 finalists. The Awards for Professional and Scholarly Excellence (PROSE Awards) honor publishers whose books, journals, and digital products make significant contributions to their respective fields of study.

This year’s results reflect a strong performance by Cambridge University Press across a broad range of disciplines. From Earth Sciences to Classics, the recognized titles underscore the depth and scholarly impact of the Press’s global community of authors and editors, with honors spanning a wide cross-section of subject areas.

Among the honorees, Public Humanities received the award for Best New Journal in Humanities and Social Sciences. The journal has been recognized for its timely thematic issues and for establishing a forum that highlights the breadth, depth, and public value of the humanities. Made available open access to readers worldwide, the publication continues to expand its publishing program and global reach.
