Library automation solutions provider Ex Libris Group has announced that the University of Windsor, a member of the Ontario Council of University Libraries (OCUL), has selected the Primo discovery and delivery solution and the Alma library management service.
It is expected that Alma's automatic workflows and unified approach to the management of electronic, print, and digital resources will significantly improve library efficiency while also offering a range of new user services through Primo.
Alma will replace multiple systems that are now in use - among them, the open-source Evergreen integrated library system. Primo will provide comprehensive discovery of library resources and will leverage Alma's smart fulfillment capabilities to optimise access to collections in all formats.
