Ex Libris®, a ProQuest company, has announced that Switzerland’s Kantonsbibliothek Graubünden (Cantonal Library Graubünden) has selected the Ex Libris Alma® library services platform and Primo® discovery and delivery solution. Serving 21 member libraries, the Cantonal Library Graubünden network will benefit from the efficiency of integrated workflows and the ability to offer remote access to library patrons across the canton, particularly important in today’s challenging times.
The Cantonal Library of Graubünden network has been using the Ex Libris Aleph® integrated library system for many years and is now eager to modernise its services with the latest SaaS library technology. With the Alma-Primo combination, the members of the Cantonal Library network will be able to integrate their services easily and manage all materials, whether in print, electronic, or online format, at a single point. Given the restrictions in today’s library climate, a cloud-based library solution is most convenient for enabling staff to carry out workflows and communicate with users remotely. Similarly, patrons of the member libraries will benefit from the ease of searching via the Primo discovery interface.
