In a strategic move to fortify its marketing expertise, Copyright Clearance Center (CCC) has appointed Ian Palmer as its new Vice President of Marketing. Ian brings over twenty years of exceptional experience in strategic marketing communications in the information industry.
CCC, a renowned pioneer in voluntary collective licensing, has welcomed Palmer to steer the international marketing communications strategy for the company. His role involves spearheading global brand awareness and driving marketing initiatives for CCC’s information solutions.
Palmer’s expansive career encompasses leadership roles within software and service providers, catering to scholarly publishers, research-driven organizations, and knowledge workers reliant on Scientific, Technical, and Medical (STM) information. His previous positions include serving as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at PubHive, VP of Sales and Marketing at DeepDyve, and Director of Pharmaceutical Solutions at QxMD Software. Notably, he also held the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer position at Reprints Desk and Research Solutions.
In recent years, CCC has received recognition for its outstanding workplace culture, being honored with the 2023 Top Workplaces USA national award and ranking among the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts by the Boston Globe.
