CCC launches RightFind Curriculum to enhance access to copyrighted content in K-12 education -

CCC, a leader in copyright advancement and innovation, has unveiled its latest initiative, RightFind Curriculum, designed to streamline the integration of high-quality copyrighted content into K-12 educational materials. This all-in-one solution is set to empower educators, EdTech companies, curriculum developers, and custom publishing firms by simplifying the search and licensing process for educational resources.

RightFind Curriculum features the Annual Copyright License for Curriculum & Instruction, which grants users reuse rights for over one million copyrighted works in both English and Spanish from more than 90 prominent publishers. This extensive collection includes materials from books, magazines, newspapers, publisher websites, and more. Notable contributors to this initiative include Crabtree Publishing, Highlights for Children, National Geographic, Rosen Publishing, ScienceNews, and Time, ensuring access to a wide range of high-quality texts.

As the demand for personalized and culturally diverse educational materials continues to rise among schools, districts, teachers, and parents, the complexities of reuse licensing have also increased. The process of obtaining timely permissions to use copyrighted texts can often take six to eight weeks or longer, posing significant challenges for educators. RightFind Curriculum addresses these concerns by providing a streamlined permissions process, making it easier for users to discover and lawfully reuse excerpts and articles in their K-12 curriculum and instructional materials.

In addition to text resources, RightFind Curriculum allows users to incorporate millions of images and videos into their lessons, sourced from trusted entities like The Associated Press and SuperStock. CCC has also partnered with educational video provider Boclips, integrating its Boclips Classroom platform, which offers nearly two million premium educational videos aligned with state standards from over 650 brands and creators.

With RightFind Curriculum, CCC is not only enhancing access to valuable educational content but also reducing the administrative burden of copyright compliance, ultimately fostering a more efficient and effective teaching environment. As educators navigate the evolving landscape of curriculum development, this innovative solution promises to be a game changer in the realm of K-12 education.
