Cengage Learning joins innovators and change-makers from across Boston as a finalist for BostInno's "50 on Fire" Awards, which recognize people and organisations at the forefront of progress and change in their industries. BostInno, part of the Streetwise Media group, is a digital media outlet and news source covering innovation in tech, startups, business, finance, higher education and city life.
Cengage Learning recently launched a comprehensive mobile app for its MindTap digital course solution; acquired ed tech company Learning Objects and the ePortfolio solution Pathbrite; and hosted a pitch competition for ed tech startups. In addition, the company continues to collaborate with global partners to address issues relating to STEM education and workforce training.
The '50 on Fire' winners will be announced on December 3rd at BostInno's year-end awards celebration. A panel of judges, comprising industry-specific community leaders and influencers, evaluate and choose the winners.
