Medical publisher CIG Media Group, US, has announced that it will now permanently open up its archives of the journal Clinical Lung Cancer. The move is in response to the successful free-access trial campaign that occurred during this summer’s International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) meeting in San Francisco, CA.
Going forward, all archived content of the regular journal issues and the supplement issues of Clinical Lung Cancer will be available for free to all online users. For the first 12 months after publication, the content will be available to individual and institutional subscribers for a fee and to individual users on a pay-per-view basis.
Over the years, Clinical Lung Cancer has developed a strong name as a platform for top-quality clinical content. The journal aims to be the premier source for clinically relevant information, to promote excellence in clinical research, and to facilitate the timely translation of that science to health care and clinical practice. Launched in August 1999, Clinical Lung Cancer was the first publication by CIG Media Group, LP.
