Healthcare education and information provider CMPMedica, UK, part of United Business Media plc, has announced that Jill Bresnick has been promoted to publishing director for the journals Consultant and Consultant for Pediatricians, and its website ConsultantLive.com.
Bresnick most recently served as publisher of Consultant for Pediatricians, a business she has developed since its inception in 2001. Also, she has been associate publisher for Consultant for the last seven years. Bresnick has over 15 years of healthcare related experience in sales, with the last 10 years working for CMPMedica and related prior company entities. Prior to joining CMPMedica, she held positions at Zeneca Pharmaceuticals and with the Journal of Family Practice and Contemporary Internal Medicine.
Bresnick is well known in the pharmaceutical marketing industry. In 2004 the Association of Medical Media (AMM) awarded Bresnick the Nexus Sales Representative of the Year award for multi-specialty publications for Consultant. Dedicated to industry service, she has also served on the AMM Program Planning Committee, and AMM's Nexus Awards Planning Committee.
