Open access (OA) scholarly publisher Co-Action Publishing, Sweden, has announced a partnership with the International Society for Extracellular Vesicles to launch the peer-reviewed journal - Journal of Extracellular Vesicles (JEV).
The society’s decision to launch a new journal is based on wide support from members and feedback from the global community. Under the initial editorship of Jan Lötvall, Professor Clinical Allergology, University of Gothenburg, Sweden, the journal aims to become a leading forum for the exchange of high-impact research and related data in all areas pertaining to the chemistry, biology and/or applications of extracellular vesicles, including microvesicles, exosomes, ectosomes, apoptotic bodies and other extracellular vesicles.
The journal is being launched in conjunction with the first meeting of the society’s more than 800 members in Gothenburg, Sweden, from April 18-21. A supplement including the 265 abstracts from this conference, along with six peer reviewed articles by leading researchers in the field of extracellular vesicles comprise the first publications. All content is published under a Creative Commons Non-Commercial license.
