Open access (OA) scholarly publisher Co-Action Publishing, Sweden, has announced the launch of its 15th Medicine & Health Series journal - Pathobiology of Aging & Age-related Diseases. The journal aims to provide an interdisciplinary venue for pathology-based manuscripts that focus on the physiological function of aging in preclinical mammalian models.
Pathobiology of Aging & Age-related Diseases seeks to provide a forum for researchers across disciplines to communicate pathology data that might be of less interest in other journals more focused on generic aging or specific scientific disciplines.
Professor Warren Ladiges of the University of Washington will serve as the Chief Editor of the journal. He is joined by Co-editors Yuji Ikeno, Assistant Professor at the Barshop Institute for Longevity and Aging Studies, University of Texas Health Science Center; Denny Liggitt, Chair of Comparative Medicine at University of Washington; and Jan Vijg, Chair of Genetics, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York. The editorial team is further supported by an international editorial board.
