Cochrane, a global independent network of researchers, professionals, patients, carers, and people interested in health, has announced that Cochrane Canada has returned to McMaster University in Hamilton.
Cochrane Canada's return to McMaster University will be led by a new Director, Holger Schünemann. The centre will consider the evidence ecosystem by integrating different types of evidence to facilitate transfer of trustworthy research from bench to bedside to policy. This will include conduct of systematic reviews and provide technology solutions to inform healthcare recommendations and decision-making to serve Canadians and citizens of the world.
Collaboration with Canadian and international partners will be a pillar of the centre's work.
