Aries Systems Corporation, a leading technology workflow solutions provider to the scholarly publishing community, has announced the adoption of Editorial Manager® (EM) and ProduXion Manager® (PM) by the Cochrane Library.
The Cochrane Library is a collection of databases comprised of high-quality, independent research evidence to promote informed healthcare knowledge and decision-making. The Cochrane Library is owned by Cochrane and published by Wiley. Both EM and PM have been selected to power the manuscript submission, peer-review, and production workflows for Cochrane Reviews and their database portfolio. Through their use of ProduXion Manager, the Cochrane Library will also be able to leverage Aries’ LiXuid Manuscript™ XML Editor, a revolutionary XML workflow tool for easy content proofing and editing. The Cochrane Library is transitioning from its in-house legacy system to Aries’ workflow solutions, which will deliver enormous efficiencies for Cochrane’s editorial team accelerating and optimising the publishing process.
