College of William & Mary becomes tenth member of the Association of Southeastern Research Libraries to select Ex Libris cloud solutions -

Library automation solutions provider Ex Libris®, a ProQuest company®, has announced that the College of William & Mary in Virginia has adopted the Ex Libris Alma® resource management solution and the Primo® discovery solution. Alma will replace the College's existing SirsiDynix library system.

William & Mary College chose Alma and Primo following an evaluation of other commercial solutions. A member of the Association of Southeastern Research Libraries, the college required a solution that would enable students and faculty to enjoy easy access to its wealth of scholarly resources.

According to Eric Hines, president of Ex Libris North America, Primo will enable this historic institution to expose and make accessible its rich and extensive collections, while Alma will help the University Library strengthen its ties with partners in Virginia who are already using Alma to help accomplish their parent institutions' strategic goals.
