Colorado State University selects Ex Libris Alma and Primo solutions -

Ex Libris®, a ProQuest company, has announced that Colorado State University (CSU) has selected the Ex Libris Alma® resource management solution and the Primo® discovery and delivery solution, also from Ex Libris. A member of the Association of Research Libraries (ARL), CSU will be migrating from Innovative Interfaces Millennium and the VuFind library resource portal.

With electronic resources making up a significant portion of its library collections, Colorado State University was in search of a modern system designed to manage more than just print materials. Flexibility, interoperability, and workflow efficiency were major factors in the decision-making process. CSU also required an extremely intuitive, web-scale discovery interface that would facilitate research by faculty members and students.

The Alma‑Primo combination will serve to efficiently manage CSU's current collections and the complex operations of the library. Enabling libraries to deliver electronic content in a modern, up-to-date manner, these Ex Libris solutions will make it easier for staff to meet the high demand for library services.
