ProQuest has announced that Concordia University Wisconsin has selected Intota™ and Syndetic Solutions™ from ProQuest to improve upon the productivity of library staff and continue to enhance the research experience for their students.
As a long-time, satisfied customer of 360 Link, 360 Counter and the Summon® Service, Concordia is eager to build upon its solutions from ProQuest and streamline library management workflows with the transformational library services platform.
The electronic resource management (ERM) component offered with Intota will save the library staff valuable time. Each year, the library staff has been challenged by digging through emails and spreadsheets trying to determine whether various databases had been paid. With the addition of Intota, they will be able to better manage their time, and track the cost of resources and databases more effectively.
Satisfied with the robust search and content coverage from the Summon Service, researchers at Concordia are heading to the library more than ever. The addition of Syndetic Solutions to Summon will deliver an even more engaging experience for the students of the university, who will now see book jackets and journal covers, be able to read book reviews, and see the awards. Syndetic Solutions will provide the depth and richness of the content available, and together with the Summon Service, content will be more discoverable to increase resource usage.
