ConTech 2018 is scheduled to take place this week. Keynotes have been specially selected to introduce these latest technologies, to look at their impact on content and to make sense of it all.
Andrew Burgess, Advisor and Writer on AI & RPA will present the opening Keynote. A management consultant, author and speaker with over 25 years' experience, Andrew is an authority on innovative and disruptive technologies and business models, including artificial intelligence, robotic process automation and impact sourcing.
Albert Barqué-Duran, Postdoctoral Fellow in Cognitive Science & Artist City, University of London, will present the closing keynote, 'My Artificial Muse'; How can A.I. collaborate with humans in creative and artistic processes? The artistic fruit of Artificial Intelligence (Computational Creativity) is a growing area of research and is increasingly seeping into the public consciousness. Dr. Albert will discuss how to integrate Artificial Intelligence as a creative collaborator in artistic processes.
Max Gabriel, CDO, Taylor & Francis and Managing Partner, Informa Ventures will present the opening Keynote, 'AI, Blockchain and data science - the next evolution of the knowledge economy,' on the second day of the event. In his presentation Max will look at what are the implications for publishers and content people as the knowledge economy evolves towards a distributed, self-learning, and intelligence-based future? How can publishers and content people thrive in this new world where centralised and process driven publishing is replaced by more fluid models?
In addition, attendees will learn from a further 35 speakers from all over the world.
Additionally, ConTech 2018 has a special Pharma 4.0 event, they are hosting a DataBeers event and there are 7 data driven product sessions from the new content and information innovations.
