Publishing software developer Content Data Solutions, Inc. (Content DSI), US, and Castle Connolly Graduate Medical Publishing (CCGMP) have announced the launch of the latter’s new interactive website. The site brings Castle Connolly Graduate’s Medical Board Review Manuals and interactive study tools online.
According to CCGMP, changes in medical education funding have forced it to alter its business model. To maintain free access for all US senior residents and fellows, it has gone online with its entire catalogue. The aim is to create new revenue streams by changing from a single-commercial sponsor model to an advertising-supported model.
Over three months, Content DSI worked collaboratively on the website design, digitised the content of 18 specific medical specialty publications and associated study tools, and integrated the content into a newly designed e-commerce-enabled website.
CCGMP will offer its digital books and its print books to practicing physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and medical students internationally via www.ccgmp.com.
Content DSI is a software and systems integrator providing content management, publishing solutions and services to commercial publishers, manufacturers and other content centric companies.
