Library automation solutions provider Ex Libris Group has announced that Chongqing VIP Information Co. Ltd. (CQVIP), the third largest Chinese aggregator, has made its content searchable in the Primo Central Index. CQVIP will enable both the metadata and the full text of its Chinese journals to be indexed.
CQVIP serves more than 6,000 customers in China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among its customers are university libraries, public libraries, research institutions, hospitals, governmental organisations and businesses.
Offered as a cloud-based service to hundreds of libraries around the globe, Primo Central is an integral part of the Ex Libris Primo discovery and delivery solution. It seeks to enable library users to enjoy the benefit of a one-stop service for their information needs.
