On behalf of the Heritage Content Priorities Task Group (HCPTG), CRKN invites members and stakeholders to participate in a survey on digitisation, access, and digital preservation activities in Canada. The survey covers the strategies and practices used when carrying out digitisation projects, as well as opportunities, challenges, and ongoing needs.
Results from this survey will inform the work of the HCPTG and the Preservation and Access Committee (PAC), who review and make recommendations regarding the development and management of the Canadiana collections and CRKN’s digitisation priorities.
This survey will be open until midnight, May 20, 2020. A summary of survey results will be shared at the CRKN Conference in October and a final report will be available in November.
It may be noted that there are two surveys - one for CRKN members and one for stakeholders. Only one response per institution will be accepted.
