David Gilbertson resigns as Informa' Chief Executive -

Specialist information provider Informa plc, UK, parent of Taylor & Francis, has announced that David Gilbertson has resigned as Chief Executive and from the Company's Board. He is leaving the company to take up the role of Chief Executive at EMAP.

Peter Rigby, previously Chairman, has resumed the role of Chief Executive, the position he held until May last year. Derek Mapp, the Senior Independent Director and a Non-Executive Director of Informa since 2004, has been appointed Non-Executive Chairman. The Board also announced that Dr Pamela Kirby will take over as Senior Independent Director.
