De Gruyter Brill and the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore (IIIT‑B) have announced the launch of the IIITB–De Gruyter Brill Series, a new scholarly book series focused on research at the intersection of computer science, engineering, and digital transformation.
Developed in collaboration with IIIT Bangalore, the series will publish research monographs, advanced textbooks, and edited volumes across disciplines including artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, electronics and communication engineering, applied sciences, digital public infrastructure (DPI), and the emerging fields of digital humanities and societal systems. The initiative reflects a shared commitment to advancing research that combines theoretical foundations with practical technological and societal impact.
The series will be guided by IIIT Bangalore’s editorial vision and thematic expertise, while welcoming submissions from researchers worldwide whose work aligns with its scope. Titles will present original, previously unpublished research and undergo rigorous peer review. Conference proceedings and other scholarly outputs may also be considered subject to agreement between IIIT Bangalore and De Gruyter Brill. The intended audience includes researchers, graduate students, and practitioners working across science, engineering, and interdisciplinary domains.
By combining IIIT Bangalore’s research leadership with De Gruyter Brill’s publishing infrastructure and international distribution, the series aims to become a leading platform for scholarship addressing the technical and societal dimensions of digital innovation.
