Academic publisher De Gruyter and MittUniversitetet, the Mid Sweden University (MiUn), will collaborate to publish the Nordic Pulp & Paper Research Journal (NPPRJ). The journal was until now self-published by MiUn in co-operation with 9 other universities in Sweden, Finland and Norway. The new cooperation starts with Volume 33 (2018).
Nordic Pulp & Paper Research Journal (NPPRJ) is an international scientific journal covering the science and technology of wood and biomass constituents, pulp and paper, new fiber-based materials, recovery and by-products from pulping processes, biorefining, and energy issues.
NPPRJ publishes peer-reviewed articles of direct relevance to the forest products industry and of the highest possible scientific quality, with an emphasis on the ongoing rapid changes in research and development of commodities and advanced forest products.
