Delaware Division of Libraries join ebrary's Public Library Complete programme -

Digital content products and technologies provider ebrary, US, has announced that the Delaware Division of Libraries is participating in its Public Library Complete pilot programme. Public libraries throughout the state of Delaware will now have simultaneous, multi-user access to more than 21,000 e-books from leading publishers. Also, Delaware public high schools will be eligible for complimentary onsite and offsite access.

Additionally, as part of the programme, the Delaware Division of Libraries may use ebrary's do-it-yourself e-publishing tool, DASH! (Data Sharing, Fast), to upload and share its own special collections and digitised materials with member libraries, other institutions, or freely on the web.

ebrary's Public Library Complete Pilot Program includes a growing collection of over 21,000 full-text e-books from leading publishers such as Random House, Penguin, The McGraw-Hill Companies, and Taylor & Francis. The programme also provides affordable, subscription-based pricing with simultaneous, multi-user access; free access for local public high schools in the public library's service district; DASH! for uploading, integrating, and sharing searchable databases of government forms, community college programmes, ephemera, special collections, and more; and complimentary marketing services and 24/7 web-based training with a real person.

ebrary is showcasing Public Library Complete and other products and services at the forthcoming ALA Midwinter, January 7-10, 2011, in San Diego, CA (booth #1701).
