Enterprise software vendor Design Science, Inc., US, has announced that MathFlow, its MathML-based authoring, editing and formatting tools have been built into Adobe's FrameMaker 12, Technical Communication Suite 5 and their new FrameMaker XML Author 12 products. Adobe customers will now be able to work with mathematical content as MathML in their XML documents and workflows. Adobe is providing MathFlow "out-of-the-box" as a free 30-day trial, referring their customers to Design Science for permanent licenses, MathML expertise, ongoing support and upgrades. MathFlow also works with other XML editors including Oxygen, Flare, XMetaL and Arbortext.
MathFlow is widely used in publishing, aerospace, defence, education, government, science and engineering, elearning, assessment, as well as enterprise solutions and commercial products. The MathFlow product line consists of a set of components for editing, formatting, and accessibility of mathematical notation for websites, applications and services.
