Users of the Ex Libris Rosetta digital asset management and preservation solution are gathering this week at New York University in New York, NY, for the seventh annual meeting of the Rosetta Advisory Group.
This year, the meeting examines the ways in which Rosetta users are taking management and preservation of their digital content to the next level in view of emerging trends in the digital preservation world and challenges that these users encounter in their day-to-day work. Contributions from Rosetta customers include presentations on the efficient and secure deposit of data objects, preservation and provenance, and opening library collections to the public.
The Rosetta Advisory Group meeting is an opportunity for Rosetta users to share their thoughts on the Rosetta roadmap, to influence future Rosetta development, and to openly discuss their needs and suggestions with senior management at Ex Libris. A highlight of the meeting this year will be a series of short workshops that address specific topics within the area of digital preservation. Experts from a range of institutions will discuss metadata extractors, the TIFF format, data privacy in Rosetta, and more.
Brought to you by Scope e-Knowledge Center, a world-leading provider of metadata services, abstraction, indexing, entity extraction and knowledge organisation models (Taxonomies, Thesauri and Ontologies).
