Donald Yealy named editor-in-chief of Annals of Emergency Medicine -

Donald Yealy has been named the editor-in-chief of Annals of Emergency Medicine, the official journal of the American College of Emergency Physicians and one of the top journals in the field.

As professor and chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine and professor of medicine and clinical and translational sciences at Pitt’s School of Medicine, Yealy’s research focuses on early care of a number of life-threatening conditions. He has contributed to more than 390 publications with almost 20,000 combined citations.

Annals of Emergency Medicine is the largest-circulation peer-review journal in emergency medicine, with more than 38,000 subscribers. Yealy has served as a member of the journal’s editorial board since 1997 and as deputy editor since 2006.
