ACCUCOMS has announced that Douglas Wright will join the company as the Commercial Director Americas, effective April 1. Reporting to Founder and President, Pinar Erzin, Doug will manage all library sales teams in the US, Mexico, Costa Rica and Brazil. He will also be responsible for publisher business development in North America.
Doug has almost three decades of experience at EBSCO's PP&F, PCG, Ingenta, Publishing Technology and ORCID, serving publishers, librarians and researchers globally. Having lived in Brazil and Mexico and with extensive experience in working with library consortia in Latin America, Doug will be a key asset to the growth strategy for that region as well.
With highly experienced Commercial Directors now physically based in US, UK, Europe and Asia, ACCUCOMS will be able to deepen its relationships with Publishers around the world, while channelling all the guidance to its local library sales teams, to continuously improve its service to local markets.
