The American Psychological Association (APA) has announced that Dr. Carol D. Goodheart, has been elected as the 2009 president-elect of the Association. Dr. Goodheart will begin her term as president-elect starting January 1, 2009. She will serve as the association's president in 2010.
Dr. Goodheart is a scholar-practitioner in independent practice in Princeton, N.J. Her career integrates practice, research and service to psychology. In addition to her practice, she has served at Rutgers University's Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology in a number of roles.
