Hearst Corporation has announced that Dr. Gregory Dorn has been named president of Hearst Health, the healthcare division within Hearst Business Media. The appointment was announced by Steven R. Swartz, president and CEO of Hearst Corporation, and Richard P. Malloch, president, Hearst Business Media, and is effective immediately.
As president of Hearst Health, Dorn will oversees FDB (First Databank), Zynx Health and MCG (formerly Milliman Care Guidelines), as well as Hearst Health's international business. He also serves as a director to Hearst Health's Homecare Homebase, as well as the unit's venture fund and innovation lab. Dorn continues to serve as an executive vice president and deputy group head of Hearst Business Media, which manages Hearst Health and has significant holdings in finance, automotive and electronic business information companies.

In 2013, Dorn was appointed deputy group head and executive vice president of Hearst Business Media. He has held a variety of leadership positions across Hearst's healthcare businesses, including president of FDB from 2010 to 2014 and executive vice president of Zynx Health from 2004 to 2010. His expertise is in developing and commercializing inventive and pioneering solutions that improve care quality and efficiency.
