Duncan Enright has been appointed as the new Publishing Director for The British National Formulary (BNF) and the BNF for Children.
The BNF is a joint publication of the British Medical Association and the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain. The journal is used daily by over 200,000 health professionals, with an updated version published every six months. Compiled with the advice of clinical experts, the BNF for Children provides up-to-date, authoritative and where available evidence-based guidance on prescribing, dispensing and administering medicines for newborns (neonates), infants, children and adolescents. It is published annually and complements the BNF which is published twice a year.
Enright most recently served as Publishing Director for the UK Division of Elsevier. His career in publishing also involved appointments at Pergamon press and Butterworths where he was responsible for commissioning the engineering and electronics programme.
