Business consultancy firm Frost & Sullivan, US, has announced – based on its research - that the global dynamic publishing market posted revenues of $330.7 million in 2006. With a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 20.4 percent, it marked a 15.6 percent revenue growth from 2005 levels. The study has also predicted CAGRs of 25.3 and 24.5 percent respectively in EMEA and Asia Pacific. The US and Latin American markets are projected to show a CAGR of 15.4 percent.

The dynamic publishing market covers page layout and publishing platforms apart from creative publishing and technical publishing services and tools. Frost & Sullivan defines dynamic publishing as a value chain of software products that enable the creation, repurposing and publication, and delivery of content across a variety of medium. It can be provided as an on-premise client-sever model or hosted as software as a service (SaaS). The market is seen to enjoy continuous growth as industry executives gain knowledge about dynamic publishing. It is expected that enterprises will invest in these solutions to trim expenditures and realise time-to-print reductions.

The dynamic publishing market, currently at a nascent stage, is observed to be quickly emerging and drawing interest horizontally across various markets. It is also seen to be gaining ground vertically across industries ranging from automotive to energy, manufacturing and healthcare.

Frost & Sullivan will be hosting a webinar on "The FDA Mandates XML: Maximize Your Investments through Dynamic Publishing" on November 5, 2009.
