ebrary adds new e-books and other documents to open access collection on cyberbullying -

E-books and research technology provider ebrary, US, has announced that it has added new e-books and other documents to its open access collection on cyberbullying. The collection, which ebrary subsidises, now includes over 100 titles that can help parents, educators, and others better understand, prevent, and take action against this growing concern in time for back-to-school. The site is available at http://site.ebrary.com/lib/cyberbullying.

ebrary's Cyberbullying Searchable Information Center includes such titles as Cyberbullying: Activities to Help Children and Teens Stay Safe in Texting, Twittering, Social Networking World, by Vanessa Rogers (Jessica Kingsley Publishers, 2010) and Banishing Bullying Behavior: Transforming the Culture of Pain, Rage, and Revenge, by Suellen Fried and Blanche Sosland (Rowman & Littlefield, 2010). It also includes a growing selection of documents uploaded by ebrary employees from authoritative sites including the Federal Trade Commission, Pew Internet & American Life Project, the US Department of Health & Human Services, and other agencies.

ebrary encourages organisations to upload their own relevant materials from local computers with DASH! (Data Sharing, Fast) - a complimentary feature of many ebrary e-book subscription databases. The Cyberbullying Searchable Information Center is just one of a growing number of open access collections created by ebrary employees and customers with DASH!. A list of additional freely available collections is available online at http://www.ebrary.com/corp/oa.jsp.
