ebrary and Oxford University Press announce partnership -

E-book technology firm ebrary, US, has announced a partnership with Oxford University Press, UK. Under the deal, titles found on the latter's Oxford Scholarship Online (OSO) product will be made available to libraries worldwide on the ebrary platform. The ebrary platform integrates multiple online resources and features unique tools for conducting research easily and efficiently.

Libraries will now be able to purchase individual e-books in the OSO collection directly through ebrary or through its global distribution partners including Blackwell and YBP. Additionally, libraries save off list price when they buy any of the nearly 3,000 Oxford University Press e-books and other content from ebrary's growing selection of over 60,700 titles available for purchase.

Deemed 'a must-have online resource' by Library Journal's netConnect, the OSO product includes essential scholarly titles in the Social Sciences and Humanities published by Oxford University Press. The selection also covers subject areas such as business and management; economics and finance; biology, physics and psychology; mathematics; political science; philosophy; religion; classics; history; linguistics; and literature.
