EBSCO Information Services and the American Geosciences Institute (AGI) have introduced GeoRef with Full Text, a resource that combines AGI’s geological indexing with full-text access to leading journals and magazines across the geosciences. The database builds on the established GeoRef index and provides a comprehensive view of global research spanning multiple languages and decades.
GeoRef with Full Text includes more than 400 full-text journals and magazines, with coverage extending back to the 1930s. The resource also integrates conference materials and offers authoritative indexing designed to support discovery across a wide range of subjects in the earth sciences.
Topics covered include economic geology, environmental and engineering geology, geophysics, hydrogeology, paleontology, petrology, marine geology, mineralogy, and additional areas within the discipline. The combined indexing and full-text access are intended to support rigorous research, teaching, and learning across the spectrum of geological study.
AGI highlights the role of specialized indexing in providing researchers with a cohesive discovery tool built on decades of curated geological literature. EBSCO notes the value of comprehensive content and intuitive access for exploring complex geological topics.
