EBSCO Information Services has expanded the instructional video collection available in CINAHL Ultimate, adding 186 new videos to support nursing education. The database now includes more than 300 instructional videos designed to help nursing students and professionals strengthen clinical skills, understand procedures, and prepare for licensure exams.
The expanded collection covers a wide range of topics, including human anatomy and physiology, nursing negligence, psychotropic and cardiac medications, pharmacology fundamentals, procedural sedation and anesthesia, pain management, anti‑infective therapies, care for impaired patients, and coronary artery disease. These instructional videos are exclusive to CINAHL Ultimate and are not available in other CINAHL products.
In addition to demonstrating procedures, the videos are intended to enhance clinical readiness by helping nurses and students apply theoretical knowledge in practice. They provide resources for skill development, build confidence in patient care, and serve as tools for exam preparation. Educators can also integrate the videos into curricula to create more interactive learning experiences.
CINAHL Ultimate offers nurses and nursing students access to a broad collection of peer‑reviewed journals, evidence‑based care sheets, research instruments, and quick lessons on diseases and conditions. The addition of instructional videos further strengthens its role as a comprehensive resource for nursing and allied health education.
