EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) has been awarded the 2016 Copova Plaque. Given by the Slovenian Library Association, the plaque is awarded to organisations introducing innovations and improvements to the working environment and work processes of libraries.
EBSCO was selected for being the first global provider to translate its user interface into the Slovenian language, for providing the first discovery service adapted to Slovenian-speaking users, and for supporting the Slovenian Library Association as a gold sponsor for almost twenty years.
EBSCO continues its dedication to improving the information literacy and increasing opportunities for lifelong learning of the population of Slovenia.
