Electronic research databases provider EBSCO Publishing (EBSCO), US, has announced that EBSCONET Subscription Management users will now have instant access to complete holdings details for titles in their EBSCO A-to-Z collections.
When viewing a title on EBSCONET, librarians can now see the library's complete holdings for that title, as managed in the EBSCO A-to-Z listing service. The display will show each of the library's sources for that title, along with the coverage associated with each source - all available in real time through the EBSCO Integrated Knowledge Base. This new feature, in addition to the extensive title details EBSCONET already provides, enhances librarians' decision-making about their e-journal and e-package subscriptions.
With this valuable information at their fingertips within EBSCONET, EBSCO customers will be able to make more informed decisions as they manage their subscriptions. Integration among EBSCONET, EBSCO A-to-Z, and other EBSCO services offers a significant time-savings. According to Kristina Krusmark, EBSCONET Product Manager, the company continues to look for additional opportunities to maximise that integration by providing users with the information they need in the tools they use to do their jobs.
