EBSCO Information Services’(EBSCO) literature database LitBase has been named an Outstanding Academic Title by Choice, recognizing scholarly books and digital resources selected by the Choice editorial team from more than 2800 titles reviewed over the past year. Only twelve percent of reviewed works receive the Outstanding Academic Title recognition.
Launched in 2024, LitBase was one of four digital resources selected for the annual list. The database offers primary texts and secondary literary sources that extend beyond the Western canon, providing a broad representation of classic and contemporary literature. The platform also integrates with MLA International Bibliography with Full Text, expanding research capabilities for users.
Outstanding Academic Title selections highlight works that demonstrate scholarly quality, clarity and academic significance. LitBase was recognized for the depth and breadth of content available to researchers.
