eContent Pro launches as first US-based platinum open access book publisher -

eContent Pro International Press has launched as the first U.S.-based book publisher to operate exclusively under a platinum open access publishing model, reinforcing its commitment to author empowerment and global knowledge accessibility.

The publisher eliminates paywalls by making all peer-reviewed academic and professional books freely available to readers, with copyright retained by authors and editors. Open access processing charges are funded through individual contributors, institutions, and grants, rather than being passed on to authors as Book Processing Charges (BPCs). The press also aims to keep its BPCs among the lowest in the industry.

eContent Pro accepts a wide range of proposals, including scholarly monographs, professional manuals, research handbooks, encyclopedias, and practitioner-focused books, spanning disciplines and research areas. Its open access model is designed to remove financial and geographic barriers to publication and readership.

The press invites prospective authors and editors to submit proposals at https://www.ecppress.com.
