ProQuest, OCLC, EBSCO, and other vendors serving the library market have been recognised by EContent magazine in its Annual EContent 100 List of 'Companies that Matter Most in the Digital Content Industry.' The companies were judged by content and its management and other criteria and divided into categories such as Classification & Taxonomy, Content Commerce and Content Delivery.
This year marked EBSCO's eighth consecutive inclusion on the list. ProQuest and OCLC have also been placed consistently in the top 100 since the list's inception. Others who made the grade are Reed Elsevier, Springer Science, Ingram Digital, Swets and O'Reilly Media.
