EDP Sciences has announced that two of its journals have been recognized at the 24th Editorial Grand Prix of the Press and Publishing in Healthcare Professions. The prestigious event, hosted by Syndicat de la Presse et de l’Édition des Professions de Santé (SPEPS), took place on November 22, 2023, in Paris. Out of 154 submissions, 14 outstanding articles were honored.
Le Nouveau Praticien Vétérinaire Équine, a recent addition to the EDP Sciences portfolio since January 2022, shone in the 'Veterinary' category. The article titled Complications de la chirurgie oculaire chez le cheval 1re partie : chirurgie des annexes de l’œil et chirurgie du globe oculaire, authored by Alain Regnier, Mathilde Goetz, and Jean-Yves Douet, garnered well-deserved recognition.
médecine/sciences, a stalwart in the EDP Sciences lineup since 2010 and owned by Inserm, clinched the Grand Prix Éditorial 2023. The winning article, Accompagnement des transidentités chez l’enfant et l’adolescent(e), authored by Élodie Fiot, Charlotte Lebrun, Clémence Delcour, Céline Rogez, Alicia Cohen, and Lætitia Martinerie, exemplifies the journal's commitment to high-quality content.
This marks not the first, but another Grand Prix Éditorial win for médecine/sciences. The journal has previously secured this prestigious accolade in 2016, 2017, 2019, 2020, and 2021, attesting to its consistent commitment to excellence.
In addition to the spotlight on the winning journals, another remarkable contribution from EDP Sciences' portfolio was acknowledged. The article Diagnostic de l'arthrose chez le chat by Adeline Decambron, published in Le Nouveau Praticien Vétérinaire Canine & Féline, was prominently featured in the event's promotional brochure and recognized during the ceremony.
