EDP Sciences partners with the Université Paris-Saclay to host ‘Science Publishing Masterclass in Biomedical sciences’ workshop -

EDP Sciences has announced that the Science Publishing Masterclasses series is scheduled for September 26 - 27, 2022 in partnership with the Université Paris-Saclay. The workshop will take place in person at the Faculté de médecine Paris-Saclay, Kremlin-Bicêtre.

The subject focus of this Masterclass will be Biomedical sciences and it is offered free of charge to young researchers and PhD students associated with the Université Paris-Saclay. The two-day session will be delivered by a specialist team led by Anne Ruimy, Senior Publishing Editor, EDP Sciences. Anne will be joined by Jean-Pierre Hardelin, Staff Scientist (CR1, Inserm) at the Institut Pasteur and member of the Médecine/Sciences journal editorial board. She will also be supported by colleagues from EDP Sciences, namely Isabelle Auffret-Babak (Editorial), Catherine Brassac (Editorial systems) and Maria Campbell (Marketing).

The scientific writing masterclass will take place over two days, with the first providing an overview of scholarly publishing and an introduction to ethics, open science, and article promotion, and the second focusing on hands-on writing, editing, and reviewing of abstracts and articles. For this, participants will use NESTOR, the new online submission system from EDP Sciences.

PhD students of Paris-Saclay University can register for this Masterclass on the ADUM platform.
