EIFL renews agreement with Wolters Kluwer Health, expands open access publishing opportunities -

EIFL has renewed its agreement with Wolters Kluwer Health, extending their collaboration for another three years, until December 31, 2027. This renewal significantly enhances open access publishing opportunities for authors from EIFL partner countries.

Starting in January 2025, the renewed agreement will enable authors from EIFL-affiliated institutions to publish their research in an expanded selection of Wolters Kluwer Health journals, with waived or discounted article processing charges (APCs). The agreement now covers 13 fully open access journals that span a wide range of medical scientific disciplines, providing a valuable platform for researchers to disseminate their work globally.

The partnership underscores EIFL's commitment to increasing access to knowledge and supporting the publication of high-quality research. By expanding the number of journals available under this agreement, EIFL and Wolters Kluwer Health are helping to reduce the financial barriers to open access publishing, fostering greater inclusivity and diversity in medical research.
