EMpact Sales (EMpact), the publisher representation group of EBSCO Information Services, US, has announced the appointment of Elizabeth Waddell as director of EMpact Sales. In her new role, Waddell will assume full responsibility for providing publishers with a strong active sales and marketing channel.
Waddell joined EMpact in 2006 as business development manager. She quickly developed partnerships with key publishers, making EMpact the ideal channel to actively sell and promote electronic content and products in strategic, targeted locations.
As part of the EBSCO group, EMpact brings to the sales process an expanded team of experienced sales and marketing personnel, many of whom have been working with publishers and libraries for many years. With the support of 31 fully staffed offices in 23 countries worldwide, EMpact's global reach makes it possible for content providers to take advantage of opportunities they might otherwise miss.
