The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Elsevier, a global leader in research publishing and information analytics, are partnering on the third Algerian Scopus Awards celebration to honor Algeria's scientific research and reward the most prolific researchers in Algeria.
Under the aegis of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research of Algeria, this event aims to recognize the talent and dedication of Algerian researchers.
Under the current agreement, Elsevier and CERIST provide Algerian universities and researchers with robust access to ScienceDirect, Elsevier’s full-text platform for scholarly communication, and Scopus, the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature.
The program features a discussion of the new Elsevier report on the “State of Algeria scientific research" and the "Algeria Scopus Awards" presentation to the winning researchers.
Mr. Kamel Bidari will chair the event Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, with Mrs. Mohamed Bouhicha, General Director of Scientific Research of the Ministry of Higher Education, Felix Haest, Vice President of International Markets, Elsevier, as well as distinguished guests representing the academic world in Algeria.
