These eBook collections are comprised of high-quality content published through Elsevier's imprints including Academic Press, Pergamon, North-Holland, W.B. Saunders, Mosby and Churchill Livingstone.
With the 2011 eBook collections, SciVerse ScienceDirect now offers over 12,500 titles and includes eBooks (monographs), major reference works, and book & handbook series. These 439 new titles span 21 unique subjects within the science and technology disciplines, as well as the health sciences disciplines of clinical medicine, health professions, and veterinary medicine.
The benefits of anytime, online access to foundation content on the newly launched SciVerse ScienceDirect platform include increased return on investment by transferring budget from print books to online, providing more content to more users; increased discoverability via free MARC 21 records; greater interoperability via the SciVerse platform, with integration of content across the SciVerse suite for subscribed users of online books, journals and SciVerse Scopus plus discovery tools to accelerate research; and an image searching feature that allows users to quickly find an image or graphic on a particular topic.
Elsevier also offers flexible Frontlist 2011 discounts on eBooks subject collections, as well as the Pick and Choose option for select titles following their respective publication dates.
