STM publisher Elsevier has launched ClinicalKey for Nursing, a new clinical reference platform that will provide trusted, authoritative content, tailored to meet the unique needs of nursing professionals. ClinicalKey Nursing was demoed at booth #1309 during the ANCC National Magnet Conference in Atlanta, October 7-9.
ClinicalKey Nursing provides nurses with the most clinically relevant answers from Elsevier's content including evidence-based nursing monographs, books, journals, practice guidelines, and core measures with nursing recommendations.
By providing both a general topic view and specific answers, ClinicalKey helps nurses rapidly access evidence-based, peer reviewed information to improve speed to accurate diagnosis and treatment, with the goal of improving patient outcomes and lowering the high cost of care. Its features have been designed utilising extensive research on the search behaviours and content preferences of nurses.
ClinicalKey Nursing was specifically designed to provide the information needed to support nursing care, including: administering medication, managing nurse policy, monitoring for complications and providing patient education.
