STM publisher Elsevier has announced the launch of Pure 5, an enhanced version of its leading research information management system, and part of the Elsevier Research Intelligence portfolio of tools and services.
The release of Pure 5 improves the system's research networking capabilities resulting from the integration of SciVal Experts into Pure earlier in the year. Current SciVal Experts customers can at the same time benefit from the advanced reporting, administration and CV modules provided by Pure.
The launch of Pure 5 further includes increased researcher visibility, targeted funding opportunities and prepopulated researcher profiles.
Elsevier Research Intelligence is a research information management portfolio that improves institutional and individual ability to establish, execute and evaluate research strategy and performance. Combining SciVal tools, the Pure system and custom Analytical Services with the rich data asset Scopus and the reference management technology of Mendeley, Elsevier Research Intelligence equips research institutions, funders, policy-makers and researchers with a wide range of content, tools, and powerful analytics. Elsevier Research Intelligence helps individuals and institutions make better decisions, improve collaboration, attract more investment and optimise expenditure.
